Hey all,
In light of the fact that Thanksgiving has just come and gone, I thought I would reflect on the things I am thankful for as a writer.
First and foremost, my husband Mark, who has always been supportive of my writing, and who gave me the kick in the ass to get things going again, back in 2013. Love you!
Second, I am grateful that I somehow was given the talent to write, and that the ideas don’t stop coming.
I am grateful for my wide circle of writerly and readerly friends, especially my QSF co-admins Angel Martinez and Ben Brock, and my QRI co-admins Rory ni Coileain and Kaje Harper.
I am grateful for all the publishers who took a chance on me, especially Mischief Corner Books and DSP/DSPP.
I am grateful for the folks who beta read for me, and who aren’t afraid to tell me the hard truths.
I am grateful for the bloggers and reviewers who help me get the word out about my new works.
And I am grateful to my readers, both long-time friends and new folks who somehow find their way through the blizzard of other books out there to find mine, and to see something special in them.
I hope to be doing this for a long time, and this whole mad enterprise only works because so many people support me and what I do.
What are you thankful for, as a writer or a reader?
