REVIEW: The Stark Divide – Five Stars
Just got a fantastic review for “The Stark Divide” from Xtreme Delusions. “I was kept on the figurative edge of my seat much of the time while reading this and had to force myself to put it down at 5 a.m. at one point so that I could be at least partially functional when meeting with friends later that day.” Authors love this sort of praise. 😛 http://www.xtreme-delusions.com/2018/01/13/review-the-stark-divide-by-j-scott-coatsworth/ Get it now: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074G2NJP6/

REVIEW: The Stark Divide – Sci Fi Pulse
What an awesome review for The Stark Divide from Patrick at Sci Fi Pulse: A science fiction novel with a classic premise that delivers drama, action, technology, and heart. I haven’t felt this way after reading a sci-fi book since reading an Asimov or Heinlein novel. Coatsworth is to be congratulated for capturing the spirit of those writers and creating a new tale that will make readers look to the starts. Overall grade: A OMG, I am literally speechless to be mentioned in the same breath as Asimov and Heinlein. 😀 Read the full review here:http://www.scifipulse.net/in-review-the-stark-divide/ And order the book … Read more

POINT OF VIEW: Worlds That Never Were
Hey all, This week I am bouncing between edits for “Lander”, from my Oberon Cycle trilogy, and beta reads for “The Rising Tide”, in my Liminal Sky series. Both involve interesting worlds that are almost characters in and of themselves. 🙂 Forever, in Liminal Sky, is an O’Neill Cylinder. From Wikipedia: “…a space settlement design proposed by American physicist Gerard K. O’Neill in his 1976 book The High Frontier: Human Colonies in Space.[1] O’Neill proposed the colonization of space for the 21st century, using materials extracted from the Moon and later from asteroids.” But I’ve had a hard time finding art … Read more
